(AP) LANSING, Mich. – Sen. John McCain, the presumed Republican presidential nominee, picked up a total of 50 GOP national convention delegates from Michigan and Louisiana Saturday.
Republicans met in both states to resolve how to divvy up delegates to the national convention in September.

VENTURA, Calif. (AP) – An autopsy shows 15-year-old junior high
student Lawrence King died of head wounds.
The boy was taken off life support Friday, three days after
being shot at school in Oxnard, California, allegedly by
14-year-old Brandon McInerney. McInerney is now being charged with
