Drug Bust in Sutter County

A weekend search at a Sutter County home turned up 50 pounds of pot.  According to the Appeal-Democrat, two people were arrested, including Cassie Davis of Oroville.  Drug agents reportedly seized dozens of marijuana plants, packaged pot, and guns from the Sawtelle Avenue home. The drugs have an estimated street value of 50 thousand dollars.

Fire at Chico Dorm Causes Evacuation

Students evacuated from a Chico dorm Sunday night…after a fire erupted inside a lobby bathroom.  Chico Fire Inspector Marie Fickert says the blaze happened at Bradley Hall on West 3rd Street.
