A Yuba County toddler is dead…after drowning in a backyard swimming pool. Paramedics were called to a home on Tumbleweed Way Monday…neighbors were reportedly performing C-P-R on the 21 month old girl. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital. According to the Appeal-Democrat, the sheriff’s office is calling the incident a “terrible accident.”

Several incidents over the past few weeks have authorities warning of unsafe conditions on the Sacramento River. Just this past weekend, the Glenn County sheriff’s patrol boat had to help rescue a stalled and stranded boat south of Butte City…it’s the third time in three weeks officials were called to help out on the river. One suspect in custody in Chico…police are looking for two more after a HOME INVASION ROBBERY. The crime happened Monday night on West 3rd Street.
