SACRAMENTO (AP) – California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez is
proposing a redistricting measure for the November ballot,
competing with one supported by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Nunez’s political-reform measure would be paired with an attempt

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Irvine Robbins, co-founder of the ice cream
chain Baskin-Robbins, has died. He was 90.
His daughter Marsha Veit says Robbins died yesterday at
Eisenhower Medical Center in the desert community of Rancho Mirage,
She says he had been in ill health for some time.
