A Cottonwood man is in critical condition after being hit a Union Pacific Train in Red Bluff just after 2 am Saturday morning. Red Bluff Police say 39-year old Gregory Guyton was lying on the tracks just north of Breckenridge Road when the engineer noticed him and sounded the train’s horn. Police say the engineer tried to stop but it was too late. There’s no word why Guyton was lying on the tracks…he was taken to a Redding hospital.
