UNDATED (AP) - Two more states weigh in Tuesday in the ongoing
battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Hillary Clinton today will be in Kentucky, where she’s expecting
a sizable victory. Front-runner Barack Obama campaigns in Oregon.
The Illinois senator is heavily favored to leave the Pacific
Northwest with another win.
That hasn’t stopped Clinton from making a push in both states to
boost her longshot bid for the White House. The former first lady
spent yesterday campaigning in Oregon. She capped the day with a
town hall-style meeting with voters in Portland, declaring efforts
to pronounce her campaign dead are premature.
Obama and Republican John McCain have been waging a
long-distance battle over whose foreign policy would be “naive.”
McCain will be in New York tonight for an appearance on NBC’s
“Saturday Night Live.”
