Fire and Law Enforcement in Tehama County about to get some new equipment, courtesy of the Department of Homeland Security. The almost quarter million dollars usually is a grant to combat terrorism, but since Tehama County doesn’t have many such incidents, Tehama County Sheriff Clay Parker says the money can be used for other equipment. Chico police continuing its investigation into a bank robbery and bomb threat. The robbery happened at the U.S. Bank branch on the Esplanade around 2:30 Monday afternoon.
