Fatal Roll-over in Yuba-Sutter Area

A Marysville man is dead after his truck ran into a ditch in the Yuba-Sutter area. Saturday’s accident happened on Rancho Road. The CHP says 27 year old Terry Sutton’s vehicle fish-tailed on the roadway, then ran into a ditch filled with mud and water. The truck rolled onto its roof, partially ejecting the driver. [...]

Shasta County Hospital Fires Significant Number of Employees

A northstate hospital telling 150 workers to find new jobs. According to the Redding Record-Searchlight newspaper, 150 nurses and other employees were fired late Friday at Shasta Regional Medical Center, as the hospital’s new operators prepared to take over.
