SHASTA LAKE, Calif. (AP) – Shasta County investigators have determined that a Redding police officer’s son was the victim of an accidental shooting. They say 4-year-old Hunter Rhoads was alone in the master bedroom closet at his family’s Shasta Lake home when he accidentally shot himself in the head with his father’s handgun.
