REDDING, Calif. (AP) – Tehama County wants to put limits on apiaries because of complaints bees are invading properties and jeopardizing safety on roads. New rules will be considered at a public hearing next month. They would restrict where apiaries could be placed in relation to homes and roadways.

A Redding man has been sentenced to over 19 years in prison following a drug investigation in the Yuba-Sutter area. 24 year old Jesus Ontiveros was one of 7 defendants in the case. A 60 year old Yuba City man has been killed in a crash south of Live Oak. The CHP says the man was behind the wheel of a car and lost control on Kent Avenue Monday afternoon. The vehicle rolled twice…The CHP says the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died from his injuries. [...]
