Fire crews rescued an elderly woman from a burning home in Gridley Wednesday night. The fire was reported around 7:30 PM on Lincoln Street. The woman was taken to a local hospital. The house sustained major damage in the blaze…No word yet on the cause of the fire.

Butte County investigators are pointing the finger at an 18 year old man for a Chico shooting. Gunshots were reported around Cleveland Street Wednesday night.
