Power Outage Hits Paradise

PG and E says 55 hundred Butte County residents are in the dark this morning in the northwest area of Paradise. The company says the outage happened in the Paradise-Paradise Pines area just after 5:30 AM.  PG and E says at this hour, they don’t know when power will be restored.

Paradise Crews Plow Roadways…Brace for More Snow

The town of Paradise bracing for another day of snow. Paradise town engineer Dennis Schmidt says the latest winter weather advisory calls for another 4 to 10 inches of snow between now and 4 AM Tuesday. Schmidt says crews have been working to keep roads clear since Sunday…but drivers still need to be careful.

Snow Causes Local School Closures

The Paradise Unified School District closing schools today because of the snow storm.  Meanwhile, the Golden Feather School District has also cancelled classes today due to snow…that closure affects about 140 students in the Concow-Spring Valley area.  Pioneer Union in Berry Creek reporting a school closure today due to a weather-related power outage.
