A body has been pulled from the Yuba River. The dead man was spotted by a state employee Wednesday afternoon near Parks Bar Bridge. Yuba County authorities say an autopsy is planned for today. At last report, the sheriff’s office had not released the man’s name and is still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

LOS MOLINOS, Calif. (AP) – Tehama County sheriff’s officers say a 48-year-old Los Molinos man has been shot and killed in a home-invasion robbery. Deputies say two suspects broke into Clarence Puckett’s trailer and shot him early yesterday morning. The suspects also stole several bags of marijuana.
