A police chase that began in Chico came to an end in a rice field. Police say a 19 year old driver in a stolen car slid into the field during a pursuit early Sunday morning. That chase started around Walnut Street, moved to to Durham-Dayton Road and continued into parts of Glenn County. Police say Luke Anderson of Magalia was arrested after the vehicle slid into the field. A passenger reportedly fled the scene.
