REDDING, Calif. (AP) – A 58-year-old Shasta Lake woman has been sentenced to seven years in state prison for stealing more than $353,000 from a food program for senior citizens. Lynn Marie Bennett was the financial officer for the Shasta Senior Nutrition Program. She pleaded no contest yesterday to grand theft and identity theft charges and to a series of enhancements.
