MARYSVILLE, Calif. (AP) – Santa Clara police say a Beale Air Force Base airman killed himself as police opened fire last weekend. They originally said police bullets killed 21-year-old Ian York during a shootout. Police say he murdered his fiancee in Marysville before fleeing to Santa Clara. The murder and police shootout came after York was disciplined by the Air Force for inhaling chemical vapors from aerosol cans to get high.
