It is round two for a proposed water botling plant for the city of Orland. The city’s Technical Advisory Committee today looks at Crystal Geyser’s plan for a sparkling water bottling plant off County Road 200. City Planner Nancy Salisbury says this is the company’s second application to Orland.

The company wants to build a more than 100 thousand square foot building and says the project will generate 20 to 25 full time jobs. Critics argue it will only supply about 5 jobs, and they worry about the amount of water the company may use.
