Complications from lung cancer claim the life of noted harmonica player Norton Buffalo. The 58 year old musician died Friday afternoon at Feather River Hospital. A stabbing in Shasta County sent an Oroville woman to the hospital. The incident happened Monday in the Happy Valley area. A Paradise woman is identitfied as the woman pulled from Lake Oroville last weekend. The body of 68-year old Gerie Becker of Paradise was pulled from the Lime Saddle Marina Saturday afternoon around 3:30. The cause of her death is pending an autopsy.
