A stabbing in Shasta County sent an Oroville woman to the hospital. The incident happened Monday in the Happy Valley area. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a neighbor dispute and one person stabbed just after 7:30 PM. 41 year old Rebecca Howdy of Oroville suffered an arm injury and was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. The suspect in the case was booked into the county jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
