The controversial water bottling plant proposed for Orland will be debated at a public hearing later this month. Orland’s Nancy Salisbury says groups for and against the plant will turn out at the Carnegie Center on November 18th.

Crystal Geyser wants to build a sparkling water bottling plan on the southeast part of town. The company says up to 25 full time jobs may come out of the plan. Opponents charge the project will not bring that many jobs and it could use too much groundwater.
