WPD: CA Attorney General’s Office Continues to Pursue Local Assault Case

The state Attorney General’s office continues to pursue a Glenn County assault case that the local District Attorney rejected. The Willows Police Department says the California A-G’s Office recently filed a complaint with Glenn County Superior Court for the arrest of Howie Lindsay. Police say a warrant was issued in the case. Lindsay is accused of slashing the neck of another man in a liquor store parking lot in September. Police officials say they requested the Attorney General’s Office review the case for prosecution after the Glenn County District Attorney rejected it.
