Chico Police have arrested the man accused of a January stabbing that left the victim in critical condition. Police arrested 41-year-old Johnnie Doremus Saturday at the Countryside Mobile Village on East Lassen Avenue. Doremus is accused of attacking the victim at the same mobile home park where Doremus was arrested. He allegedly stabbed the man several times in his chest and slashed his throat. Doremus charged with attempted murder.
