Butte County leaders are looking at continuing to relax building codes for those hurt by the fires of 2008. The pilot program would be extended through June of 2015. Pete Calarco is with the County’s Development Services Department. He says the proposed ordinance is aimed mainly at people in the foothills and particularly Concow areas who needed to rebuild after the fires of three summers ago.
