A hiker locates human remains in Tehama County. The Sheriff’s Office says the hiker took deputies to a rural area on Highway 32 near Deer Creek Sunday. Authorities found human remains, including a skull. The Sheriff’s Office says it wants the remains to be forensically evaluated in hopes of identifying the person and cause of death.
