The Butte Environmental Council is asking Chico leaders to greenlight a plan for a new, one acre community garden. Mark Stemen with the BEC Board of Directors says the garden is proposed for land near Marsh Junior High School. The Chico City Council will consider approving the BEC’s request at Tuesday’s meeting.
