The CHP has identified the 60 year old Oroville man killed in a weekend collision on Ophir Road. Officers say Frank Burrows was a passenger in a van that slammed into a tree early Saturday morning. Burrows was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews. The CHP says Burrows was taken to a local hospital, where he died. The van’s driver suffered minor injuries in the crash.
