Cal-Fire says the Windy Fire north of Butte Meadows is 100 percent contained. It has also been downgraded from 140 acres to 97 acres. Mary Ann Aldridge of Cal Fire says there is no cause yet. She says fighting the fire comes first–then they look for a cause. At its peak, the Windy Fire had about 300 Cal Fire personnel fighting it. Aldrich says one firefighter received minor injuries from a cut on the leg.
