The skeletal remains of two victims found in an abandoned pot garden are yet to be identified. But the man who’s allegedly admitted to his part in the crime is due back in Butte County next Tuesday. Butte County Sheriff’s Lt. Al Smith says 21 year old Joel Beltran was arrested last week in Fontana. Smith says a trail of clues led to Beltran where he was arrested. The skeletal remains were reportedly found in an abandoned pot patch off Coutelenc Road in Magalia.
