Oroville Police say a driver has been arrested after a stolen car crashed into a tree Saturday night. Police say the vehicle nearly collided with a patrol car before it hit the tree and overturned on Oak Avenue. Two people were found trapped inside…the pair suffered minor injuries. Police say the driver, identified as 36 year old Charles Hipes, was arrested on charges including DUI causing injury and vehicle theft.
