One man has died after crashing his SUV into a garbage truck in Oroville. Police say that the driver and passenger were trapped in the Suburban following the head-on collision Thursday on Grand Avenue. The passenger, 44 year old Tammie Jones, was airlifted to Enloe Hospital. Police say the 65 year old driver died at the scene. The crash is still under investigation but police say it appears the SUV swerved across the roadway and collided with the parked Recology garbage truck.
