Several agencies are involved in the excavation of a house south of Oroville that may be the resting place of a 15 year old girl missing since 1973. Butte County Sheriffs officials and the FBI are involved in the investigation at a burned out home at the corner of Latin and Larkin Roads east of Biggs. Sheriffs Lt. Al Smith says authorities suspect foul play in the case of a girl last heard from almost 40 years ago. Smith says the girl was reported to be in a group home in Gridley at the time.
