Agencies come up empty in their search for the remains of a 15 year old girl southwest of Oroville. Butte deputies along with teams from Chico State and the FBI were involved in the excavation at a residence on the corner of Latin and Larkin Roads. They got a tip that the remains of a 15 year old girl missing since 1973 might be there, but they found nothing. Because the case may involve foul play it is open and the investigation will continue.
