An early morning fire in Chico damages an apartment complex. The blaze was reported around 3:30 AM on West Sacramento Avenue. Chico Fire Inspector Marie Fickert says the tenant who discovered the fire also warned others in the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation. One firefighter reportedly suffered a minor injury involving a ladder during the incident.
