CHICO, Calif. (AP) – The body of a missing man has been found a week after he disappeared on the Sacramento River near the Butte-Glenn county line. The body of 20-year-old Brett Olson was found on Sunday near the “Washout,” about 2 miles downriver from Beer Can Beach. A fisherman discovered Olson’s body floating in the water and alerted the local Search and Rescue team. Glenn County sheriff’s deputies had searched the river for a week following the annual Labor Day weekend float. The Glenn County Sheriff told the Chico Enterprise Record that a toxicology test would be performed.
