Chico Police say a woman was under the influence of meth when she allegedly stole a man’s truck, hit the man with the vehicle, and tried to steal another car. The victim suffered major injuries, including a crushed pelvic region Monday. Police arrested Mayra Morales at the Park and Ride on Fir Street after she was detained by a witness. She’s facing charges including assault with a deadly weapon, DUI with injuries, and hit and run with injuries.
