Butte County’s Water Table Improves

Local water readings show the area’s water table is getting better after years of drought. Paul Gosselin with the Butte County Water and Resource Conservation Department says the increased rainfall and heavy snowpack mean things are slowly getting better.  He says the rainfall certainly helped, but the water table was up because of the cooler weather and later planting by area farmers.
