Glenn County Leaders Look at Ways to Improve Energy Efficiency

Another step today in the process of making Glenn County more green. Before the county’s Board of Supervisors is a policy that urges county business be done in a way that saves energy and makes things more sustainable. Supervisor Leigh McDaniel says the Board today will also take the steps necessary to prepare about 170 acres near the Thunderhill Race Way for solar collection panels. It’s all part of a plan to turn more than 300 acres into a solar facility that’ll generate some 38 megawatts.
