Butte County Employee Facing Embezzlement Charges

A Butte County Public Works Employee is facing three felony counts of embezzlement for allegedly pocketing some of the money made on tree sales. 46 year old Bryan Graves is a superintendent in charge of maintaining county road crews and also in charge of taking dead or dying trees from the county right of way. District Attorney Mike Ramsey says Graves is an 11 year employee of the County Public Works Department. He is due in court Friday on three felony counts of embezzlement of public funds.
