Chico Unified Receiving Money for School Construction and Modernization Projects

The Chico Unified School District getting a funding boost.  The California Department of Education says Chico Unified is among dozens of school districts receiving millions of dollars for construction and modernization projects.   CUSD’s Mike Weissenborn says the funding helps the district recapture expenses for a project already completed at PV High School.  Weissenborn says the money will be put back into the bond fund and help cover the costs of new classrooms at the campus.
