Tehama County Blaze Burns Home and Vegetation

A Tehama County fire that destroyed a home and burned just under a hundred acres has been contained. CalFire says the Cody Fire began Monday night south of Red Bluff around Cody Drive and Probert Avenue. The blaze also reportedly burned several outbuildings. Meanwhile, firefighters continue to gain ground on the Mill Fire burning for ten days in Colusa County.   As of Monday night, the blaze west of Stonyford in the Mendocino National Forest was 75 percent contained.   So far, it has scorched nearly 30 thousand acres.
