It’ll be back to the drawing board for Butte County staff when it comes to a medical marijuana ordinance. The Board of Supervisors decided Tuesday to draft an ordinance that would reportedly be more restrictive than the one that voters rejected in June. The ordinance would reportedly be patterned after one in Kings County, which allows only indoor medical marijuana grows. The draft ordinance is expected to be back before the Board later this month.
