Chico State Not Affected by Enrollment Limits for the Spring

Some good news for Chico State: the University will not be affected by the limits on spring enrollment because of state budget cuts.  Chancellors for the State University System announced certain limits because of a quarter billion dollars in budget cuts. But Chico State Director of Admissions Alan Bee credits President Paul Zingg with convincing the CSU Chancellors that Chico State is a uniquely rural campus where students can’t just easily transfer to a nearby college. And he says the ability to admit more students is good news for the Chico economy. He says there are still problems for the campus if the Governor’s November tax measure fails.
